Steinnes farm is located ca. 220 kilometers from Reykjavík and the drive to the farm takes around 2:30-3 hours. Akureyri is located north-east from Steinnes and driving to there takes around 1:40 hours.Then Blönduós is the nearest town and going there takes 15 min. When driving road number 1 you need to turn to the left on the crossroads of Vatnsdalur, marked as Þingeyrar to the left and Vatnsdalur to the right. It takes around 3 min. to drive to Steinnes from road number 1, after you‘ve turned, Steinnes is on the right.
